The Ultimate Plan Towards Better Health, Fat Loss, And Staying Fit For 2010


I know you already planning for the new year, and I know some of you are still reflecting on the past year. However, I wanted to take this time of my schedule to let you know how important it is for you to make 2010 a new beginning. Hearing this statement all the time can be somehow vague, and I understand that.

Before I go into details about them, I must tell you that New Year’s resolution just doesn't work. It's unfortunate, and whether you believe me or not I'm staying with my opinion. I won't convince you here that I’m correct. On the other hand, you should reflect back and count the accomplishments you've attained last year for your New Year resolution. Did you get there? Did you continue to persevere? Did you win or did you fail?


You see, for most people “The New Year Resolution Thing” is very emotional and it's driven by some of the most powerful minds on the planet. Two of them are Media Monopoly and Advertisement Psycho Analysts. The truth remain, however, that most people who set up new year’s resolution goals don't do a thing about most of them, and if they do, it usually last just a month or so, especially for weight loss, fat loss and to be fitter. Why is that? Well let me stop here and give you some of my tips and hopefully you can find your answers here and the right way to go about winning for the New Year.


Number 1: Your Statement of Purpose: You must have a statement of purpose in order to accomplish your health and fitness goals, and stay committed. A statement of purpose is different than just setting a simple goal or New Year’s resolution. It's a systematic plan of why, when, where, what, and who, about what you want with a revise schedule. A quick example of this could be something like this:


“I want to weigh 30 pounds less by March 23rd 2010. I want to weigh 30 pounds because I will be able to fit in the dress I always wanted and I will be healthier and at less risk for chronic disease. I intend to lose this 30 pounds working out at home 3 times a week for 15 to 30 minutes, and changing my eating habits. I will keep a journal on my desk to monitor my changes, and my emotional moods. For my reward, I will take a long weekend off work in June 2010 for a mini vacation at Miami beach with my husband or girlfriend." Having something like this and revise it every week will keep you focus and consistent towards your reality.


Number 2: Re-invent Yourself: It's a new year therefore you must become a new you. This simply means you must start thinking differently and act differently. It's alright to want to lose 50 pounds, however if you're not educating yourself and taking the necessary steps to lose the 50 pounds, it will not happen. If you don't start believing in yourself and have faith with certainty that it can be done, surely it will not get done. If you start and keep listening to folks telling you that you won’t lose the weight, you’ll never look like this, than it won’t happen either.


The truth is, a lot of you spend more than on junk foods, sitting on the couch in front of the TV for 3 hours, and entertainment each year, and the amount surpass what you could have spent on our health, body, and mind. For 2010, make it a habit to stay more discipline towards what you want, do the right thing and be patient enough, and before you know it, you will be smiling a lot more.



Number 3: Defragment Your Mind With Anti-Virus: If you own a computer or laptop, you know all the viruses you get at time that ends up crashing your PC. And if you don't clean it you may not be able to use your PC, right. "5 Ways To Protect Yourself Against Flu This Season"





I received an email from a customer of mine, that asked about what kind of measures she should take for the upcoming fall and winter season in order not to get sick and the flu.

I will not disclose her last name here, but her first name is Joane. Here's what she asked " Hi Ibsen, your weekly lessons from BurnItforever.com has been helping me tremendously. I am a little concerned about the flu season coming up, do you have any advice on what I should do to protect myself from getting sick"

Okay, if you've been reading my blog for quite sometime now, you are aware that I have talked about this before. Actually, there must be at least 3 posts about this subject on this blog. That's alright if you've never read them.

Base on what Joane asked me, I felt compelled to share with you my answer that I sent her. So, here are 5 ways to protect yourself against the flu season.

Number 1) Exercise Regularly: Yes, you have to exercise regularly because it is a remedy for you with no adverse side effect except for muscle soreness. When you exercise regularly there are many physiological changes that occur within your bodily systems as well as neurologically.

I'm not going to spend a lot of time explaining all the benefits of exercise here on this post, but you should know that, it will help you cope with stress, reduce the risk of inflammation around your joint, increase oxygen uptake, and much more. By the way, you don't necessarily have to lift a bunch of weights to exercise, you can jog, run, rearrange your bedroom, wash your car, redo your garden, go bowling and have fun. As long as you stay active you'll get a lot of benefits.

Number 2) Wash Your Hands Often: During this time of year, there are many germs that are circulating around in the subway system, the car, the house, etc. After you get off a subway, car, share someone hand, make sure you wash your hands with luke warm water for at least 1 minute. If you have dry hand, of course you want to lose some sort of "essential oil" after that.

Number 3) Carry A Lime In Your Bag: Hummm! a lime in my bag. Yes, lime my friend is "a powerful remedy". It's scientific name is Citrus Aurantifolia and it has been used for centuries to help various of tribes. And yes, it was used for various ailments and still today it helps with prevention for flu, fever, scurvy, constipation, respiratory disorder and more. Here's my quick tip for you, after you wash your hands you can use the lime and rob it in your hand. When you go to a restaurant, or a cafe, use a pure of it to add to your tea or water. Even better, if you smell any bad order, smell the lime. By the way, the acid in it kills a lot of bacteria and microbes as well.

Number 4)
Boost Your Immune System: Think of your immune system as the wall of China and there are a lot of invaders behind the wall. If the wall fall because the invaders use some phenomenal strategy than you will crumble down. That's exactly what your immune system is. It's a well organized army comprised of the most elite fighters you can ever imagine, such as: your cells, proteins, tissues, and organs that protects you against microbe, bacteria, pathogens and much more.

So how do you boost your immune system. There are many ways to do so, but a few common ones are: increase your cardiovascular health, exercise regularly, drink more water, keep your body PH level normal, take healthy vitamins, mineral, and antioxidant, and most importantly "clean your bodily systems" to get rid of toxicity. Number 5) Change Your Mind - Set :
I've been asked a multitude of questions about health, fitness, and there is one question that always stand out, and I have been asked over a thousand time and my answer never change. My point is this, if you have a cough, or your throat is itching a little, or you feel some kind of fever hunting you, or headache, it has nothing to do with you been sick. The human mind, body is very keen at recognizing foreign agents, telling us something is going on wrong, and it does its best to protect and eliminate those issues. If your body is helping you fight symptoms, and you're keep on repeating you're sick, guess what's going to happen. You will get sick. Why? because the brain can be programmed with whatever we ingrained in it. In order words, you create your own reality, your own body, your own health, thus your sickness.

"7 Reasons Why Water Should Be Your Drink Of Choice"

Today I'm going to talk to you briefly about water and let you know why it's the best drink of choice, hands down. We know water is good for us, right, but with soda, juice, coffee, tea, energy drinks, and other drinks so readily available, it’s hard to make the decision to choose water. Next time you think it's too hard to make that choice, just think that your body is comprised of 75% of water. You don't want to play with not drinking water all the time, trust me on that. Anyhow, here are the 7 great reasons to drink more water.


Reason 1) Water Will Keep Your Skin Looking Great. If your skin looks tired and unhealthy, so do you. Staying properly hydrated removes all the toxins that build up in you skin, and helps prevent it from drying out. Reason 3) Water Promotes A Healthy Heart. When you’re properly hydrated, your blood is thinner and easier to pump. This means your heart has to do less work and ultimately lasts longer. Studies have shown that people who drink plenty of water have fewer heart problems.


Reason 4) Water Help Get Rid Off Toxic Build-Up In The Body. Sure, it sound’s like something from a bathroom cleaner commercial, but you have toxins in your cells too. Some come from the environment and others you produce yourself. Either way, they’re in your body and you need to get rid of them. Just like you use water to flush your toilet; your body uses water to flush out toxins. Getting rid of this waste helps you function more effectively and feel better.


Reason 5) Water Has No Sugar Added. While fruit juices may contain many nutrients, they also contain a whole lot of sugar. This is especially true for many bottled juices from the grocery store. This sudden burst of sugar triggers your insulin response and makes you tired and sluggish. It also helps to convert that sugar to fats faster. Sugary sodas will produce the same reaction and they usually contain no nutrients at all.


Reason 6) Water Is NOT Diuretic And Caffeine Is A Diuretic. So why water? Why not drink diet soda or coffee all day?
